Aluminium Wire & Cable

Any aluminium wire or cable that is not insulated or coated. Note, that pure aluminium wire looks the same as steel core aluminium cable. A magnet is needed to tell them apart.

Steel Core Aluminium Wire & Cable

Some aluminium cable contains a core strand that is made of steel. This can be tested for by using a magnet. Because the steel core down grades the quality of the aluminium, the product is kept separate from pure ali cable.

Extruded Aluminium

Extruded Aluminium is generally used to fabricate any aluminium frame that requires some structural integrity. Security doors, frames and windows right through to aluminium bullbars and scaffolding.

The product should be free of all steel screws and brackets however some cleaning of products can be undertaken by our staff.

Domestic Aluminium

A softer grade of aluminium used where rolling or forming is required such as pots, pans and some sheeting. Just about anything that is not made from an extruded length.

Cast Aluminium

Any Aluminium castings. From alloy rims and engine heads to lawnmower bodies.

All castings should have any steel bolts or studs removed or cut off flush with the ali surface.
